We all like to make money but...

We all like to make money but it is clear that investment dollars and especially natural resource investment has significant impact on the physical and human environment.

Mining operations are blips on the radar of geological time, insignificant amidst unimaginable time lines.   However, this does not change the disruption for those in the present and the proceeding generations.

It has become clear that good management of environmental and human concerns around natural resource projects helps the bottom line, and can help to improve the lives of those communities and individuals that participate, sometimes the only spur to development for impoverished or economically lagging areas.

Investment and development are meant to help the present and build the future, but projects cannot place the burdens of the environmental and human costs solely on the distant future.

There are going to be set backs, but if companies show honesty and willingness to resolve problems, that is positive and demonstrates competent management.

This blog will hope to identify legitimate projects in the natural resource space that offers long term economic benefits for investors in a responsible fashion, while keeping a general eye on global trends in natural resources.

We all like to make money but we need to be aware of the human and physical impact of natural resource investing.

It could make you a better investor and more importantly a better person.
